Bringing sight to Florida

One day the doctor tells a young single mother that her beautiful son will live his life without the ability to watch a sunset, or see the toys that she wants to play with. That is unless he has a surgery that her insurance will not pay for. This feeling that she has of hopelessness is much more common than you might think. 

We exist to bring hope through sight. Not just physical sight, but also we are bringing vision and hope to Florida.

Our Services are funded by Lions Members

Our assistance is only given through requests in the individual Lions Clubs of Florida and the Bahamas (Multiple District 35). Through an evaluation process a Foundation Projects Chair qualifies the client and then negotiates with medical providers to obtain the lowest fee possible without compromising the quality of care.

General Information

Funds to support this eye care program are received only by Lions Club donations, interest from trust funds, grants, and bequests. The Foundation prides itself in keeping expenses to a minimum; there is no overhead except for one paid position.
